He looked up in the sky.
It was routine.
Nobody approached him.
Nothing special came along the way.
Imagination was his best friend.
One day as he was staring into nothingness,
He heard some kids in a basement.
Curious and with nothing on hand,
He went to take a peek.
What he saw did not amaze him.
However, it was an unfamiliar sight.
The boy looked up,
but only rain clouds greeted him.
He had to take shelter.
Amongst the crowd,
He caught a glimpse of his brother.
He enquired and decided to try something new.
What he experienced next fascinated him.
This unusual thing.
This unusual sport.
Floorball was its name.
Years after his first encounter,
He decided to pick it up again.
To feel that adrenaline rush.
Just once more.
He met a strange set of people along this process.
They called themselves "floorballers".
Some were great,
Others were not so great.
He wanted to give up.
However, something nudged him to continue.
Months passed.
Acquaintances became friends.
Friends became comrades.
Comrades became brothers.
Motivation skyrocketed.
He knew that he was not athletic by all means.
And so he worked. Like never before.
Preparing to fight the widely feared beast:
'A'Divisions.
(The last page has yet to be filled. What you want it to be is in your hands. Go, boy. Fulfill your potential.)
I believe he is teaching me. About teamwork, complacency and all. Let's see what I do with these lessons (:
